High performance, next generation calcium phosphate cements indicated for filling bony defects in cancellous bone.
A high performance orthopedic cement designed to overcome the limitations of first generation Calcium Phosphate cements. OsteoRepair has excellent compression strength, handling properties that allow for wet field application, combined with fast, hard setting properties. It is available as OsteoRepair, indicated for orthopedic applications and requiring mixing, and as OsteoRepair CMF, as a premixed a BVF indicated for orthopedic and CMF applications and designed to optimize procedural efficiency by obviating the need for mixing and preparation.
ADVANTAGES
Biocompatible
Allows for natural bone remodeling while maintaining strength of cancellous bone
Simple to mix and deliver with supplied mixing system
Fast, hard-setting; approximately 5 minutes at 37°C in wet environments
Immediate higher compressive strength than cancellous bone
Can be drilled and inserted with screws
May be implanted before or after hardware allowing surgeons to maintain their standard surgical technique and allowing precise cement and hardware placement
OsteoRepair
